Starting in the fall of 2023, this series is a documentary-style exploration into the modern-day concept of elopement. Instead of running away in secret, many couples now consider elopements to be a dismissal of traditional, often costly ceremonies. Instead of a stretch limousine to an extravagant banquet hall, there is the 6 line to the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall metro stop. This ongoing project explores how the concepts and traditions we have around marriage are constantly evolving and changing, while some things continue to remain the same.
